I was talking about some difficulties i have encountered in my previous post. I really can use some help here.

A brief introduction of the book.

I am implementing the book to illustrate different forms of alphabets used when they are used at the beginning, middle or end of the words. I have come up with most of them. A few ones i cannot think of rigt now. I would really appreciate your help in identifying them.

I am adding the list of alphabets that i am stuck on, please do recommend any words ( should be able to draw picture of it to illustrate) that you can think of. The pattern that i am using here is

The urdu alphabet – the place (middle or end) of word required – example of the word using alphabet to confirm the alphabet – meaning of the word in english.

1. “say” – alphabet included in the middle and end.
2. “Hay” – alphabet used at the end. (This hay is used in Halwa).
3. “ddal” – alphabet used at end. (This is used in Danda – stick).
4. “zhay” – alphabet used at end. (This is used in zhala baari – hail storm).
5. “suad” – alphabet included in the middle and end. (This is used in sandooq – suitcase).
6. “duad” – alphabet included in the middle. (This is used in daeef – elderly ppl).
7. “tuay” – alphabet used at end. (This is used in tota – parrot)
8. “zuay” – alphabet included in the middle and end. (This is used in zuroof – crockery)

Sorry for not posting for a while. I was working on the sequel of book “Rang a Rang Khattati (Part 2)” but i seem to be a bit stuck on few alphabets.  Also, i have been working on a couple of other things as well. So, this is taking a lot longer than i thought.

the book nu mber 2 i was working on is not yet finished. But, i have made another book.

It is a colouring book, it introduces some main colors written in urdu.

I have started this website to organize the material i am collecting for teaching my kids. I have a few ideas in mind, some of them converted into material and some are still in my mind. I will be basically working on Urdu material as that is not easily available. This Urdu material can be found on the link “Urdu for kids”. I hope it will be helpful as an aid to learn urdu for your children. Please feel free to download and use these Urdu books and give me feedback.

I am also going to need your help in achieving the goal of making Urdu teachng material that is as interesting as other teaching materials we find in North America.

I will keep on updating here about what new work i am doing currently.
